PSAT Scoring

The PSAT is scored by taking the sum of the student’s two section scores. The reading and writing section and the math section are both scored on a scale of 160-760. This means that the total score range for any student is between 320 and 1520. While the total score is important, looking at a student’s individual section scores can help identify where there is room for growth.
