LAS Services: The Initial Consultation Process

LAS services include coaching, consulting, and training, and are available on campuses and via videoconferencing or webinars. LAS options for these services include one-on-one coaching, group-based instruction, workshops, seminars, and supervision.

All LAS services begin with an Initial Consultation Process that integrates an initial meeting for plan development. Following the meeting, LAS designs an individualized plan with specified learning objectives and measurable goals. As applicable, LAS specifies resources and self-reflective strategies for daily workflow. Individual plans contain progress tracking, written instructions, and executive functioning support.

LAS adheres to FERPA and HIPAA privacy policies.

Research-Based Practices

LAS Coaches use research-based strategies to optimize learning. It’s not as easy as it sounds, in part because the strategies are individualized. One size does not fit all. Therefore, before designing a plan, an LAS Coach works closely with each client to understand and clarify goals, expectations, timeline, and learning preferences. This collaborative process ensures that each LAS plan is personalized with clear learning objectives, self-reflective practices, and measurable goals.

Individual plans include clear learning objectives with measurable goals, self-reflective strategies, and progress tracking.
