The LAS Mission

The Initial Consultation Process

All LAS services begin with an Initial Consultation Process, which includes an initial meeting to collect information, clarify learning objectives, and identify measurable goals. Following the meeting, LAS designs your individualized plan and provides a written report with step-by-step instructions and a shared planner/tracker. This plan specifies resources and strategies for daily and weekly workflow, and integrates progress monitoring and self-reflective practices to strengthen executive functioning.

LAS services include coaching, consulting, and training, available on campus, via videoconferencing, or through webinars. Options include one-on-one coaching, group-based instruction, workshops, seminars, and supervision.

LAS adheres to FERPA and HIPAA privacy policies.

Research-Based Practices

LAS Coaches use research-based strategies to optimize learning. This isn’t as simple as it sounds, since effective strategies are highly individualized; one size does not fit all. That’s why, before coaching begins, LAS works closely with each client to understand their goals, expectations, scope of work, timeline, and learning preferences. This collaborative process ensures every LAS plan is personalized, with clear learning objectives, self-reflective practices, and measurable goals.
